I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Sheboygan County Government (Sheboygan, WI) in Jan 2018
Interview
Spent a lot of PTO time in an effort to go through a lengthy hiring process for a highly mislabeled entry-level position. No regard for an applicants time as the County is notorious for not communicating appropriately with applicants when they do not get offered the job post-interview. I had to be the one to reach out and inquire my status as an applicant. Won’t bother wasting my time again on this mediocre entity.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sheboygan County Government (Sheboygan, WI)
Interview
Relaxed atmosphere. A question about personality is part of the process. Honesty and confidentiality required. Creativity a plus but not a necessity. Being a caring person a huge plus. Enthusiasm will help. A few strict rules need to be followed, but the other portion of job is great judgement and instinct.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sheboygan County Government (Sheboygan, WI) in Jan 2011
Interview
I interviewed with the Personnel Committee. A group of approximately 9 people. At first it was very nerve wrecking but I soon became very comfortable. Each individual asked a variety of questions. I was very well prepared. I had done my research at the time and went to the library to find out all about how county government works. I dressed very professionally and made sure I made eye contact while answering the numerous questions. I made sure all my questions were answered and I felt confident after the interview was completed.
