The interview formats were typical, though most rounds felt very disorganized and unprepared. I was made to feel very confident that I was going to receive an offer after the final rounds, and then fence posts kept moving until I was told otherwise. I left feeling that my time was wasted by the recruiter, and that the company's standards for professionalism were quite low.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Scribd Inc. (Toronto, ON)
Interview
start with recruiter screening - hiring manager - virtual onsite. hiring manager went over the team and then asked few behavioral questions. In virtual onsite there will be 2 rounds coding and system design
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
what are the projects you have worked on previously?
The interview went okay. Mostly behavioural questions were asked in first interview. I could gauge that internal team structure was missing and probably the interview was a front to hire someone internal. Received an email 15 minutes after the first interview that they have hired someone else.
