I applied online. I interviewed at SaltWorks (Woodinville, WA) in Feb 2021
Interview
I had a phone interview. After our call they said they would get back to me by the end of the week to let me know if there was any interest in moving forward. I followed up twice. Once to say thank you and an additional time to see if the position had been filled. NO RESPONSE. Not even a "sorry we decided to move forward with another applicant".
In my opinion, that shows a huge lack of professionalism. If you say you will get back to someone, you should follow up. Regardless of the outcome. It’s called courtesy. Clearly, they don’t know that means and have no respect for their applicants.
I've read some horrible reviews about this company and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Seems as though they live up to their 2 star reviews. It starts from the top. Definitely would not recommend.
I greatly apologize that you didn't receive a response to the interview. We have a policy that any candidate that has an interview (phone or in-person) will always get either an email or phone call stating the progress on filling a role, regardless if the candidate is not moving forward or is still being considered. I have already addressed this internally.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SaltWorks (Woodinville, WA) in Mar 2019
Interview
They sent me an invitation to do some samples for a copywriter role. They promise a $50 gift card for your time, stating they understand your time is valuable and give one week to complete the task. One day prior to the week ending, I receive an email asking if I was still interested to which I replied, and sent the test project.
A couple of days later the individual who initially sent me the test job sent me a text asking for my address and phone number so they could send the Amazon gift card. After 1.5 weeks I hadn't received the gift card and wrote him an email to inquire if it was sent. Radio silence. They don't reply.
The process seems a bit shady and for a company claiming that they understand your time is valuable, only to waste it, is off-putting, to say the least. If you get an invite via email to submit work, do so with caution, might end up being recycled by them, and you won't receive the compensation promised.

Interview
Very fast. Applied online and had a phone interview the same day. Came in for an in person interview later that day and left the interview with a job offer.

Question 1
I do not remember any specific questions. Generic customer service "describe a time you did -blank-" questions. Met with both immediate manager and company President.
