I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Salesforce in Feb 2014
Interview
After a few email exchanges with a recruiter, I was given one 20 min. phone interview with both a manager and a senior director who both hold PhDs in my college major. Interview was non-technical. Entire interview hinged on a project I worked on in a class that I listed on my resume. The interview felt very informal and was more of a conversation about the importance of data. You should obviously know your resume well and be ready to talk in-depth about any experiences that would be relevant to your role.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
- What issues did you encounter when working on X project? How did you resolve them?
- What's your ten year plan?
Questions were asked from dsa and resume and the person who took the interview was polite and knowledgeable. He went through my resume before starting to ask any questions that might be irrelevant
It was good and easy. Had an easy going conversation and enjoy the manager that interview me. I liked the work environment and there and I enjoyed the overall culture. The work was fun to do as well.
