I have to say this. This has been one of the most unprofessional interview experiences I have ever had. This was a role a recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn. And after I scheduled a call with the Hiring Manager, all I hear is crickets? I understand if it is negative news, I even understand that you can't reply to every candidate that applies or just talks to HR. But to get ghosted after an interview with the Hiring Manager is a first for me.
If this is the way RingCentral HR team behaves with their Interview candidate pool, then I do not want to be a part of this unprofessional and toxic culture. I withdrew my candidacy via email

Question 1
- Situational behavioral questions. Was there a time you had to scope down a project?
- What are your strengths as a PM
- Favorite Product? How would you improve it
- Biggest accomplishments in past projects
Fairly straight forward. 1 Phone call, then an onsite and a presentation which was on-site as well. (Why couldn't they do it together instead of making the candidates visit twice?)
Overall, it was the worst experience ever. They ghosted not just me but another candidate I came across through a slack group who interviewed for the same role. I thought it was just me and after hearing from the person, it seems like they do it to everyone.
There was no response even after 2 months post on-site. Multiple interviewers were late for the face to face meeting and they don't have a clue about the technology. Zoom is a much better and matured company. Please go for it compared to RingCentral. Don't get me started on the recruiter.
Bad recruiting and no respect for the professionals.

Interview
The interview process was pretty standard - recruiter phone screen, phone interview, then two on-site interviews. After my reference check, I then spent an hour on the phone with the hiring manager in a follow-up conversation/interview before finally receiving an offer.

Interview questions ran the gamut, but they did not bother with the typical technical/quantitative questions... or at least their methodology for assessing my technical skills was a lot more subdued and relaxed.
My overall impression of the process was that it was laid back and relaxed - a relief when compared to other PM interviews, in which I feel like I am in a pressure cooker.
