There was an AI bot that immediately screened my resume immediately after submitting my application. It deemed me a match and I was sent an automated message via the recruiter's email address to pick a time and date for the interview. I selected both and received a confirmation.
A few days later (and one business day before the interview), I got an email from the recruiter stating the hiring manager would be on PTO and to select a new time from the link. The link stated that I had already selected the time originally selected, and would not let me pick a different one. I emailed the recruiter about this and did not hear back for about four days. I had to follow-up again. She gave me some alternative times. I immediately responded and asked if there would be an updated link for me to follow. I didn't hear back for another few days, until I followed-up again.
This time, she sent a standard rejection email stating that they have decided to move forward with other candidates. There was no explanation why. I tried to search the job on the site, but it appears it's been taken down. Very unprofessional and also not the first time I've seen of this happening with Providence. There are plenty of other interview accounts stating the same issue.
