I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Providence (Newberg, OR) in Sept 2014
Interview
Very thorough with good questions pertaining to qualifications, temperament, and experience. Interview was comfortable, professional, but not intimidating, and held by the manager and other staff nurses. (I am now filling up space so I can proceed and move on without getting the annoying message saying I need 50 words at least).

Question 1
I am giving a relatively common question, but important- How would you deal with another nurse with a difficult personality? (And now I am filling up space so I can easily proceed and be done with this 30 word requirement)
One on one interview on Teams. Questions to determine if you're a good fit for the unit. Also will ask what you know about the organization and why you want to work for them.

Question 1
Have you cared for stroke patients? What are the signs of stroke and what would you do if your patient started exhibiting those signs?
The interview took place over teams. They asked behavioral based questions and wanted specific examples from your own experience for each question. The whole process took about 20 minutes. I was nervous at first but the people interviewing me were friendly.
Panel interview based on each unit. Mostly you can choose your preference or whichever unit has more openings. Panel interview ranges from 3-5 people who will ask questions about yourself.
