I applied online. I interviewed at Podium in Nov 2022
Interview
Really nice to chat to. Simple process. Clear next steps. Good communication. Moved quickly. Would recommend chatting to the team as they were really friendly and open about what it was like to work at Podium.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Podium (Lehi, UT) in Jul 2025
Interview
They rescheduled the meeting multiple times. Then they showed up late. They then proceeded to give the most unprepared interview I have ever had, while walking away from their laptop multiple times. Body language couldn't be more obvious that they didn't care I was there.
They questions themselves were pretty standard: How do you currently work deals, Why do you want to work at podium. Etc.
I did think it was funny that they gave me a lecture about needing to research the company more before an interview (fair) while they clearly didn't prep for the meeting at all. It was too bad because the first interview I had with them from their HR team was incredibly professional and sharp. The woman who ran it did an incredible job, But the second one was a total cluster.

Question 1
Why do you want to work at Podium?
How do you currently procure opportunities?
Casual, panel of 3 interviewers, They asked me a slew of questions about history, but more questions about how I would approach prospecting in different situations. Overall it was a positive experience, all 3 interviewers were managers, and I ended up working for one of them
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Podium (Melbourne) in Feb 2025
Interview
Managers were nice enough but seems they were looking for someone with direct tech sales experience and I was out of the running from the start - definitely not my strongest interview anyway.
Cheers to the recruiter for putting me forward - he was pretty hopeless with follow up. Gotta learn how to deliver bad news my dude, it's literally the job and super bad for your personal brand as a recruiter. Nice enough guy.
