The interview process was straightforward and informal. After submitting my application, I was contacted within a few days to come in for an in-person interview at the store location. The manager asked basic questions about my availability, previous work or volunteer experience, and how I would handle busy periods or customer service situations. The atmosphere was relaxed and conversational, more about making sure I was reliable and could work flexible shifts than testing technical skills. In some cases, they also asked situational questions like how I would deal with an unhappy customer. The process was quick – usually just one short interview – and I was offered the job soon after.
The interview was easy and very laid back. The manager was the one who did the interview and he really made sure to make me feel comfortable. An overview of the duties and responsibilities of the position were also briefly laid out.
