They've ghosted me after the second interview round. 👻👻👻 After waiting for about three weeks after the last interview, I messaged both recruiters managing my application and no one even bothered to message me back. The first round was the standard chat with a recruiter, but the second round was more extensive, involving a conversation with a hiring manager and a case study presentation. The preparation for that presentation was no small effort on my part, which only made their radio silence even more frustrating. I have to say, that the recruiting team overall was very unprofessional, for example, the recruiter rescheduled our call to 10:30 p.m. instead of 10:30 a.m.

🤦 Rejections are a natural part of any job search, no matter how good you are. Even more, I’ve been at that side of the table too and had rejected people myself, but ghosting, not providing feedback or a reason for rejection is a clear indicator that the company has no respect for the time and effort people may commit to their business.
