I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Perk (New York, NY) in May 2022
Interview
Progressed to second round of interview. The guy was late to the interview, had terrible WiFi connection and then gave a copy & paste rejection with no detail or feedback whatsoever.
In the interest of balance, the people seemed legitimately friendly. On the whole however, it was a distinctly subpar treatment of the candidate throughout the process.
Genuinely surprising for a company that (I) has received more than enough funding to accommodate a smooth process and (II) consistently touted it's strong people-oriented "values" throughout the process.
I applied online. I interviewed at Perk (Barcelona) in Aug 2019
Interview
It took 5 rounds of interview. Every time there was a different person. At last i was invited to the offices in Barcelona for a face to face interview with the team leads. At the end i did not get the job. The on site interview was a cold and i did not feel the connection with the interviews and at the end i did not receive any feedback from them. I called the HR person which was really helpful and asked if i can have a feedback on why i was not chosen for the position. The explanation was that they needed someone more experienced for the position. I would have hoped that after 5 interviews they can establish if someone is experienced or not. Anyway it was a good experience.
