I applied online. I interviewed at Oxford Innovation in Mar 2024
Interview
Cv and cover letter. One hour online and then one hour face to face at Oxin offices. I personally will now avoid any jobs advertised by this company. The initial interview felt clunky, poorly prepped by the organiser and they seem to lack interviewing skills. The face to face (which included a five hour drive by me) felt cold. It felt more like they were looking for reasons to say no than yes, there was an air of arrogance to the whole process if I'm honest. It transpired that they required a very specific skill that was not listed in the advert, would not usually be required for such a role, and was not asked about in the first interview. Meaning that they are happy to waste hours of an applicants time including travel for multiple interviews that only require them to move desk. Steer clear would be my advice.

Question 1
Do you have substantial experience in Ai. Or at least this was the question that should have been articulated in the job advert and first interview.
