I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Nestlé Purina U.S. in Feb 2023
Interview
I applied and received a request for a phone interview a couple days later. It was a 45 minute interview walking through my resume and going over pay. Recruiter was very nice, and asked two behavioral questions. Then I was scheduled for a second interview that was 3 hours. I took time off work for the interview and I studied the interview questions on Glassdoor. I think of the 25 questions I looked up I only got asked 1 of those. Luckily, I tailored some of my examples to fit the questions. I was told in the virtual interview that this is a very competitive job, which is great. I was told it would be a week to get a decision but I got the automated email a day and a half later saying they were going with more qualified candidates. It was a good learning experience and if I can get through a 3 hour interview without my mind going blank I believe I can do anything.

I applied online. I interviewed at Nestlé Purina U.S. (Saint Louis, MO) in Apr 2019
Interview
Started out with a phone interview where he explained the position and interview process a little bit, we then reviewed my resume and he asked me some basic HR questions and then went into 2 behavioral questions where you're expected to answer with the STAR method. After that he explained the next steps of the process and when I would hear back. Got a call by the end of the week to schedule my face to face interview.
The in-person interview is intense - 3 hours with 3 different people. Each person will ask you 4 behavioral questions, review your resume with you, and also each person explains an aspect of the company. With your 12 behavioral questions they don't want you to use the same example twice unless you can share a different outcome.
This is a hard interview to prepare for, but look at questions on here and think about various challenging situations you've gone through (it can be any of your past jobs, volunteer positions, your personal life). They just want to see how you react to various types of situations and what your thought process was. As intense as the interview was every person I met with was extremely nice and you can tell they want you to do well. It's ok to bring in a notebook with notes that help you remember some stories for your questions and don't be afraid to take a second to really think about what you're going to say. Now I'm just waiting to hear back about the interview, but would recommend this company to anyone just based on how I've been treated throughout the process.
