I applied online. I interviewed at Nestlé in Jan 2020
Interview

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nestlé (North York, ON) in May 2025
Interview
Got referred to the role. Recruiter reached out a week later and asked me to do a take-home coding challenge. I was given 2 weeks to do this. Then, had another follow-up interview to go over my design with the recruiter. After that I was asked to do another follow-up take-home to build on top of what I had designed. Then got called in for an in-person interview and was told that I am too overqualified by the hiring manager. Their take home was an entire chatbot, with hosting and everything paid out of my own pocket. Looking back, it was a very unrealistic project to be done in such a short time. They also asked for my code at the end so it almost felt like they were getting work done for free. I worked on this tirelessly on my weekend. I want 3 weeks of my life back.
