I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Neiman Marcus in Jun 2008
Interview
You have to complete the online profile and pass the math test before they will talk to you. Then, I had a one on one interview with HR on campus. Next, they flew me to Dallas for "assesment". This consist of a group interview, one on one interview and a test called an "in basket".

Interview
I interviewed for the Assistant Buyer role at Neiman Marcus, and the process was fairly structured but engaging. It started with a phone screening with HR, where they asked about my background, experience in retail or merchandising, and interest in the company. After that, I had a video interview with a hiring manager, which focused more on my analytical skills, vendor negotiation experience, and understanding of luxury fashion trends.

Question 1
Describe a time you had to negotiate with a vendor. How did you handle it?
Fine interview, done virtually and in person. Hiring team was pleasant, but ultimately decided it was not a good fit for me moving forward. Definitely a great company to work for.
