I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Moxa Inc. (Taipei) in May 2025
Interview
There are three stages:
Stage 1: Teams interview. They'll briefly explain the job responsibilities and your salary expectations, about 20 minutes.
Stage 2: Supervisor technical interview. This will begin with a logic test and electronics knowledge, followed by a technical discussion.
Stage 3: Two senior managers and an HR representative. This will last about three hours. They won't ask many technical questions; instead, they'll focus on problem-solving and inquire about your previous job responsibilities, exploring those areas further.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How to select peripheral components for Boost IC design?
The first round was a casual phone interview with the hiring manager. He mainly asked about my background, why I was looking for a new opportunity, and my previous work experience.
In the second round, I was asked to prepare a technical presentation related to networking and testing. The discussion went deeper into my past project experience and problem-solving methods.
The final round was a conversation with the general manager to discuss career goals and team fit.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me to explain how I would design and automate network feature testing, and to walk through my test strategy for ensuring reliability.
Normal interview, but they asked niche questions. They knew I was a CS major, but asked very niche questions like bits in a word. Overall, not bad, but I was expecting more networking based questions since I talked to them at a job fair and stated to know more "layer 2/3 on the OSI model"
