There are usually 4 1-hour interviews for each interview loop. Internal candidates can request an "informational" 30-minute meeting with the hiring manager to decide if they want to apply. The interview loops are hard to schedule due to crazy calendars of the interviewers. They try to get external candidates in on the same day but internal candidates are sometimes spread across multiple days of interviews. The hiring manager is supposed to reach out to the people to offer the job or explain why they didn't get it. I've found that they rarely call when you don't get it. If you do get the job, it takes 1-2 weeks to process everything before you can accept an official start date in the new role.
