I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Joyable (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2021
Interview
Very quick and easy. Done via app. Definitely very painless. Weird that it’s not in person. But new times. New ways. It would be amazing if all companies interviewed this way
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Joyable (New York, NY) in Jul 2019
Interview
First interview was a screening interview with the VP. The second interview was a technical interview to design an app to record memories of visiting landmarks.
After the second interview I was told they were looking for a full stack engineer. I was interviewing for an Android position not a full stack engineer position. Why are they wasting my time going through the interview process without disclosing what they are looking for. I would steer clear of a company who cannot afford an android engineer and a backend engineer. That is not a scenario that is going to succeed very well.

Question 1
I was asked to design an app that would help people find directions to a landmark and record memories of the trip.
I applied online. I interviewed at Joyable in May 2016
Interview
Seemed to go over well. Phone interview and then in person. Typical interview type questions. I thought I performed well but didn't get the job. I asked for feedback; they had none. I would not recommend, and discovered that they hired candidates with much less relevant experience than myself.
