I had an amazing interview with the manager, who explained the company, its activities, and how the team has grown. However, there was one aspect I didn't like: the technical challenge. The reason I didn't like it was because I never heard back from them regarding the challenge I completed. The manager mentioned it would take at least four hours to finish.
After spending a few hours working on the technical exercise—which took me a bit more than four hours—I sent an email with my findings.
Later in the week, I received an email thanking me for applying but informing me that they would not be proceeding with my application. I tried to reach out for feedback, looking for areas of opportunity to improve in my career development, but never received a response.
I enjoyed the exercise and am now using it as part of my portfolio. However, I really wanted to get feedback.
