Two interviewers, 30 minutes. Asked about background as well as general scientific acumen probing. Familiarity with the products, applications, and processes are helpful in navigating the questions. Very nice interviewers and a rather relaxed video interview.
Applied on the website. Hiring manager and recruiter reached out for call/screening after a month. Scheduled a 1 hour research presentation followed by 3 one to one interviews in a day.

My recent interview experience with Illumina was extensive, spanning 5-6 rounds. The lack of clear communication and post-interview feedback made the process challenging.
