I applied towards the end of the summer and was called by an elementary school the next day for an interview. The district took about 4-6 weeks to approve my application, which was after school started. I didn't have to go on an interview with HR like some of the other reviews I've read. I applied and was basically put into a pool of teachers.

Interview
There was an interview with the principal on the school campus, and it was very pleasant and reasonable in length. We talked about my past teaching experiences and expectations of teaching position.
