I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Harness in Jul 2021
Interview
Started off as a chat with the recruiter to go over the position. After that was the technical interview. There were 3 rounds to that, each 1 hour in length. Questions focused heavily on data structures and algorithms. Last interview was with the hiring manager which was a mix of technical (Java threading) and architectural (scaling an application) questions, along with a discussion of my resume.

Recruiter call, algo coding, architecture, more algo coding, director/vp meet n' greet.
I didn't even attempt to get past the recruiter call. Most recruiters are not the brightest bulbs and she was definitely on the dimmer side. Couldn't answer basic questions around culture, internal workings and couldn't deal with any kind of questioning around why Harness is not flexible with work arrangements. Attempted to gaslight me. Overall seems like they're 5-10 years behind the times. Butts-in-seats mentality.

Question 1
Would you be willing to work in an office three days a week.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Harness
Interview
The recruiter was not able to correctly describe each interview, they present system design as behavioral.
The offer was only verbal, as it was told, "they can't share the offer in writing", and not that competitive.
At first I was given few weeks as an offer expiry date, which was reduced to a few days after only a few days.
After asking for offer renegotiation, the recruiter stoped responding.
