Application
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gusto (Denver, CO) in Sept 2019
Interview
Interview process was speedy and sincere. It consisted of a phone interview, a short project and then 3 in person interviews (all on same day, 3 different interviewers). I really appreciated the transparency about the company and role I was applying for. Everyone I met and talked with seems genuinely happy to be working at Gusto. I took that to be a great sign.

Question 1
What is an example of something you had to do, but didn't want to? How did you come to terms with this?
Gusto was a pleasant interview experience. Individuals took at least a full hour to conduct each interview irrespective of type (skills-based, case-based, culture fit) and never made you feel rushed. They were eager to make you comfortable while you interviewed and really wanted to get to know you. Questions and exercises were thoughtful and relevant. They were a few kinks when it came to job offer time, but it always stemmed from a good place and was ultimately pleasantly resolved.
