I recently interviewed for the remote solar sales opportunity and the entire process was first class. I had the pleasure of speaking with Annie (talent coordinator), Maggie (VP of development) and Tim (VP of sales). Each person asked and explained different aspects of the role. That ranged from how many appointments you can expect to receive, what is expected out of a sales rep, the commission structure, benefits (w2 role) how GPE operates (company installers vs subs) and also the values of GPE. Integrity is one value, of many others, that stood out to me during the interview process. Annie kept me informed every step of the way throughout the entire process. I ultimately was not offered the role at this time because they do not have enough leads for me to meet and exceed our expectations in a strictly remote role. I appreciate the honesty vey much. I live in Texas and wouldn't have the ability to run in-person appointments in New Jersey and GPE's other markets. In Annie's final email, she wished me well and we left things at "see you later" vs "so long" meaning that if the opportunity arises, I could be considered for that role.
