      Interview

Recruiter reached out, first interview was with an AI bot as a preliminary screening. There is then a 30 minute call with an HR representative, to get a better idea of your skillset. Once they deem you suitable for the role, they send you over to do a pitch monster simulation, and if you do well, a final interview occurs with you and an upper level manager of all account executives.

very smooth short interview process! first was phone call with recruiter very basic. then was hour long call with someone on the AE team where it was half behavioral and the rest was a practice sales call. Final round was the day after and a values fit. everyone was super friendly!

      Interview

*Edited because my initial review was removed due to naming titles of employees?* From my initial conversation with a *person* to the actual interview, the entire process was unprofessional and disorganized. To begin with, the *person* I initially spoke with was unable to answer several basic questions that are standard for any sales position. He explained that he was new to the company, which may be understandable—but if that’s the case, he probably shouldn’t be handling candidate calls until he’s fully prepared. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only misstep (more on that below). The interview itself had two parts: a review of my experience, followed by a role-play exercise. Everything was going smoothly until the role-play portion, where it became clear that I had not been sent the necessary materials ahead of time. The interviewers (a *person* and another *person*) confirmed that a link with important information should have been provided by the *person* I met with prior to the meeting. Upon learning I never received it, they sent it to me on the spot and asked me to quickly review it so we could redo the exercise. They apologized for the oversight—though it seemed like they only believed me after verifying the mistake themselves. Had I received the material in advance, I would have been significantly better prepared. At the end of the interview, I asked the *person* about the next steps. He told me to proceed to the “values” interview scheduled later that same day. This contradicted what the initial *person* had told me—that I would only be invited to the values interview if the initial one went well. I waited in the meeting room for 10 minutes, only to receive an email from another *person* informing me that they had decided not to move forward. The entire process felt disjointed and unprofessional. With everything considered, I’m actually relieved not to have received an offer. I would strongly caution other candidates to think twice before investing their time with this company. One final note: This was a sales position, yet the team couldn’t provide clear information on quotas or performance metrics because it’s a “new role.” To me, that’s a major red flag. Any company hiring experienced sales professionals should have at least a baseline understanding of quota expectations and long-term OTE potential before interviewing
