I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GE Digital (Bengaluru) in Mar 2018
Interview
HR contacted first to enquire my interest in the opportunity and accordingly schedule interviews. There were 5 rounds of interview with different panels. HR summarised well on the expectations of the interview process and on which parameters a candidate will be assessed. The HR had recently joined the organization and aimed to significantly improve the recruiting process just like his previous esteemed organizations. However, after all the interview discussions, I never got any communication on the outcome of the interview. I called back the HR on an update and was assured that I will be informed, but never received any communication.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GE Digital (Bengaluru) in Nov 2016
Interview
I was contacted by the GE recruiter. My profile was very much suitable for this particular role and thus, I had prepared well for the interview. As per the JD I had prepared for a few technical questions, behavioral questions (since it is for managerial role) and obviously whatever is related to the JD.
It was f2f interview and nothing was asked in the interview except my work experience which was already explained in details in my cv. That is fine and I thought I answered well but no other such questions were asked which could be a deciding factor whether I did well or bad in the interview. Whatever question was asked was already clear in the cv which was the basis for shortlisting. I felt like it was sheer wastes of time and energy for me, preparing for interview and travelling for f2f interview. Worst thing is they don't even respect your follow ups. It takes only a few seconds to reply back. Only good thing about the whole process was, it seemed well organised and volunteers were well mannered. But again I had to wait for almost 1 hour in the waiting hall for the interview watching their boring branding video in loop.
