I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at GCP - Grand City Property (London, England) in Jun 2025
Interview
The interview process was straightforward. The questions were fairly easy if prepared well. They weren’t honest about progression and study support until I asked for things to be in writing and they couldn’t budge.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GCP - Grand City Property (Berlin) in Oct 2018
Interview
I received an e-mail 1 week after my initial application for the job. The interview process was straight forward and consisted of 2 parts. Firstly, HR invited me to an interview with the Head of Strategic Planning and Operations. The main purpose of the interview was to get to know each other better. We talked about my educational background and work experience. I was also asked some questions about my technical skills (Excel, SQL, statistical packages) just to know whether I faced with them before or not. The interviewer was kind but I think he failed to introduce me the company, team and its culture. I had to ask all these question to him.
Few days latter I received an invitation to the second and last interview. The second interview was a case study at company's office. At the office I got an assignment that I had to complete within 3 hours. In particular, I received an Excel table with some data (mainly KPIs related to property management) that I had to analyse, make some findings and present the results. After I presented my findings to the Head of Strategic Planning and Operations and another team member, I expected some questions so that we can discuss the case study. But it didn't happen.
After 2 weeks I just received an automatic notification that I was not selected for the position.
My general impression is that the company is very corporate (they always referred to me by "Mr") with very strict hierarchy. The location is nice but a little bit far away from city centre (Alt Tegel). The work at this position seems to be very monotonous and boring as each team member is attached to a particular piece of work. I also had an impression that the team is not interested in motivated candidates that wish to learn and grow. However, at the same time I believe that the position is good for graduates as a first job.
