Very first interview was with HR back in Nov 2023 , I was told then that my next interview will be with the hiring manager. I did not hear anything back, I followed up but got no response. Then around Sept 2024 they reached out to me almost a year later to resume the process with no explanation or acknowledgment of the silent period. I thought that was odd but since resuming the process it was very smooth, I completed 4 interviews in all in the space of less than a month. I was very pleased to see that the process was moving pretty quickly from interview to offer to start.

The interview process with Fortinet was disorganized and unprofessional. Initially, I was contacted for a commercial position that aligned perfectly with my profile and experience. However, what followed was a series of delays, miscommunications, and ghosting, making it clear that the recruitment process lacks structure and respect for candidates' time. The most unprofessional situation was that, after a long period of silence, I was unexpectedly contacted again—not to move forward, but with the recruiter asking whether I had even been interviewed. A clear sign of poor internal coordination. Would not recommend this process to other candidates unless significant improvements are made.
