After being told that my masters wasn't really worth much, they based the offer of employment to me on their gut feeling. The person who interviewed me was very much grilling me instead of making me feel welcome and at ease. I ignored it at the time, but after working with her it was apparent that that was her style. It was a very negative experience.

Had a first stage interview via a video call. Interviewer was a few minutes late, but was apologetic when they arrived. Straight to the point with questions, answered the questions I had at the end. Overall pleasant interview. It was indicated that I would hear back the following week, but I had to chase and heard I had been unsuccessful nearly 3 weeks after the interview, it was slightly frustrating that it took a while to hear back.
