I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Equitable (New York, NY) in May 2010
Interview
The first interview was face to face with the group manager and was somewhat informal. The second interview was a phone interview that consisted of specific questions target the job role. The third and last interview was conducted with the group manager as well as the Vice President of the division. There was little interaction concerning the job. Most of the conversation involved talking about the potential earnings and benefits that could be earned by working there. The process was more of a "sell" than a formal Q&A.

Question 1
Why would you want to work for this company more than any other financial/insurance product based company?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Equitable (Secaucus, NJ) in Oct 2025
Interview
They called me after applying online, asking questions about my upcoming graduation and interest in a role like this. We scheduled a phone interview for the following week. I received an email confirming that the manager would be calling me at our scheduled time. When it came around to the date, they never called. It has been 2 weeks, and they never reached out, but from Indeed they confirmed that they moved on with the hiring process.
About 3 interviews, 1 online and 2 in person. The online interview was long with a lot of information. Very friendly and got to meet lots of people in the office when on site.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Equitable (New York, NY) in Jan 2025
Interview
I went through a very mellow interview process, 3 rounds of interviews starting with a phone screening and ended in person. They were mostly behavioral based, little to no technical questions, but you do have to pass exams.
