I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Encore Global (Kansas City, MO) in Oct 2015
Interview
I attended a hiring fair for which I had a scheduled interview. It was a hotel meeting room with several tables set in a circle. I sat with a PSAV manager and an HR representative. After the interview I received a phone call from an HR recruiter with an offer. I negotiated my rate. I received a written offer via email. Followed the instructions to complete the drug test. I was emailed my first shift.

A recruiter reached out, they invited me to a hiring event at one of their hotel properties. I waited for an interview, It was pretty easy. I got to speak with an operations manager and an hr guy of some kind. Make sure to read the email with directions to the hiring event thoroughly.

Question 1
Asked about video/audio cabling and equipment like mixers and video switchers. they asked about scheduling (they require open availability). they were very polite. If you know what an hdmi cable is, how to use a mixer, and anything about audio or video theory you will do well.
Very straightforward and quick in getting me informed, walking me around the property and introducing me to everyone on site to get me ready to be part of the team!
It was pretty easy, the first part was through questions I had to answer by recording myself, then I had an in-person interview in thier main office in coppell, where they asked if I had prior knowledge. After that I was able to get in touch with the property manager but this was in 2019.
