Overall, it was a long and thorough process, lasting a couple months, but that's to be expected with academia. It began with an introductory call over Zoom with the hiring manager. Within a week, I had two 30-minute interviews with a panel of three employees each. After a few weeks, I had another Zoom call with the hiring manager to check-in. Then, another round of interviews with other employees. The hiring manager was transparent later in the process that I was a finalist, however I did not receive an offer.
