I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Economy Linen and Towel Service (Dayton, OH) in Jan 2022
Interview
Interview was scheduled quickly and I felt that they took the process seriously. They had me take a quick academic test prior to the interview process and they seemed invested in learning about me as a person, as well as a candidate.

Question 1
How would you handle a situation if a worker was not completing their job up to the needed standards.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Economy Linen and Towel Service (Dayton, OH) in Jan 2018
Interview
The interview process was a huge waste of time. It consisted of a formal interview at their Managed IT services company which was not an interview with the company itself but with the CEO of their managed Services Company. It was not really an interview related to skills and expertise but more rapid fire questions about hardware specs. Once you pass that portion you make it to round 2 which is a four-hour stress box scenario where you're asked to perform various Network and Hardware related tasks designed to supposedly test your troubleshooting skills. My issue with this is it's not close to a real world scenario and put in a similar scenario in real life you would have additional resources to rely on. After wasting 4 hours on this I was left hanging for an additional week before I was told that I didn't get the job.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Economy Linen and Towel Service
Interview
The aging interviewer called me in and gave the most simplistic questions. They basically needed a workhorse, and I was it. After sending me home and telling me to wait by the phone, I was called the next day. The same lady offered me the job and told me what my starting wage was. I politely declined... She seemed confused and asked why? I told her it wasn't enough. She hung up. Ten minutes later, the VP called and offered $1.50 more an hour. I agreed, and have been stuck ever since.
