I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dollar Tree (Racine, WI) in Oct 2011
Interview
I had my interview at noon the day I was hired and found out I was hired three hours later. The hiring process was very fast, the next day I brought my identification and filled in my papers about 3 days after that I was training. Training only consisted of one day and all you had to do was "recover" aisles and spend some time at the cash register.
Came in and asked for the store manager. He took me into the office and asked a few questions. Questions : Why do you want to work for Dollar Tree? Do you know anyone that works here? How you deal with Multi-tasking? How you deal with pressure?
Got the job. (Mainly through Nepotism).

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dollar Tree (Tequesta, FL) in Jan 2026
Interview
Went to interview and was nervous about answering questions for the job and depending on how I answer them. That would determine if I get the job or not. But it wasn’t like that at all. The store manager was super friendly and straight forward with everything. Applying was super easy online.
Very simple and easy was hired on the spot. More like a friendly conversation than an interview, was 30min-1hr long. Given tour of store and full run down of responsibilities
