The interview process was three rounds. The first round was a 15 minute screening phone call. The second interview was a 30 minute call with the hiring manager. The third interview was 2 hours of onsite back to back interviews with different members of the team and an office tour. Two of the interviewers for the onsite interview were late. During my onsite interview with the Chief of Staff he insultingly stated “you don’t even know what we do here.” Not once during the interview did he ask me if I knew anything about their company. He also went on a tangent about how great it is working there because he can do whatever he wants. He also emphasized that he doesn’t care about the company budget. During my office tour, I could sense that there was no community in this space. The office environment is beyond unwelcoming. In addition, there is absolutely no gender diversity in the staff here. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. Not only was I insulted of my intelligence, but my time was also wasted. Divergent should reconsider who they have in leadership positions if they want to run a successful company. Please reconsider interviewing at Divergent.
