Disney Store Interview Questions

The interview was very casual, met in mall food court, the interview probably lasted no more than twenty minutes, very easy questions (I was definitely over-qualified), I began working at Disney Store very shortly thereafter.

About 2 hours. They asked questions about who is your favourite Disney character and why? Name a time you faced a problem and how did you solve it? How would you describe good consumer service? They also gave us some toys and told us to sell it to the group. Overall, I believe you have to be very energetic, outgoing, theatrical and extroverted to succeed in this role.

Very straightforward, behavioral questions (conflict resolution, scenarios). Asked a few questions about my knowledge with Disney movies, shows, and characters. Questions were mostly centered around hypothetical situations and how I would approach or handle them.

I sent in an application and was then contacted to come in for an interview. The manager had a causal conversation and asked questions. Afterward was offered a job before I left.

It's a group interview. we had 7 or 8 people in one group. The manager was super nice and kept talking and smiling. The whole process lasted for about 15 minutes. The question includes: what's your favourite Disney character and why? what's your experience of working with kids? how do you solve some tricky issues (for example in a very busy shop)at work? what's your greatest achievement( work or life)? at last, the manager asked us to choose one product from the shop and try to sell it. But when we finally choose one, the manager wanted us to sell the product chosen by the people on your left. it took one week to receive a response. I didn't receive but I connect with one Indian from my group. He received one Email and one call. From my perspective, they want to find someone who is really outgoing and extroverted so that you can help them sell the product more effectively. Because my timetable is quite flexible and I think I was active and talkable in the interview but I failed. The Indian who gets the offer is much more active and outgoing than me. So, please be active as much as you can, and smile on your face always.

The interview process was fun, challenging, and catered to variety of differ t kind of people with different talents. Overall I think they just want people who want to be there.

Group interview with three other people. Very casual atmosphere. We were asked questions as a group and answered individually. We were then asked to select a Disney product from a table which we then had to swap with the person beside us and then we had to try and ‘sell’ the product to the group. Took about an hour total and was not too stressful.

I received a phone call with an interview time. I then attended a group interview with 3 other candidates. We were asked how we would handle certain scenarios and to explain instances in which we dealt with particular situations. We then had to pick a piece of merchandise from a table and then try and sell it to the group. It was an overall positive experience. I got the job offer, but unfortunately could not proceed with the offer for personal reasons.

Group Interview. They put us in different scenarios and asked us to interact with customers and pick a specific product to sell. It was quite a large group of about 10/15 people, hiring for the Christmas season.
