I had a disappointing experience interviewing for the Executive Assistant to the CEO role at Delta Gail.
I was initially contacted by a recruiter via LinkedIn and went through three rounds of interviews for the position. Throughout the process, communication seemed positive and engaged. However, when I followed up to ask about next steps, I received no response at all—no update, no rejection, and no acknowledgment of my email.
I understand that companies move in different directions, but after investing significant time and energy into multiple interview rounds, candidates deserve basic professional courtesy and closure. Being completely ghosted reflects poorly on the company’s recruiting process and candidate experience.
I hope Delta Gail improves communication practices for future candidates.
