I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Concordia University in Feb 2022
Interview
The interview dates were on the job poster, which was very helpful. I first passed a cataloguing test, which was extremely in-depth and had to complete it within 90 mins. The results were not communicated to me.
The panel interview is with the supervisor, a manager, and two other librarians. This was one of the longest and most difficult interviews I have gone through. There was little room for chit-chat, and after introducing themselves and the university, it was 90 minutes of rapid-fire questions about cataloguing standards and procedures, employee management, time management etc..
Despite the HR rep being super friendly, and the panel stating that every candidate would hear back regardless of the answer, I was not contacted.
