Interview
Online aptitude test, followed by a 90 minute interview with two panels, and then an hour long interview with upper management. The entire process took less than 3 weeks. The online aptitude test was very easy, but the interviews were not what I expected. The 90 minute interview consisted of a few personal/ get to know you type questions, but the majority of the time was spent on solving problems. If you get the answer too quickly they may try to change something to trip you up. The toughest part for me was making sure I understood the parameters of the problem- I was so full of nervous energy I misunderstood about half of the questions. The panelists will help you.
The final interview was essentially talking about the role, day to day tasks of the job, and how I would fit in that role.
The recruiter called and offered me the position shortly after I left the building. As others have mentioned, the pay is below average, but I felt that the job presented a good opportunity for me so I accepted the position. Benefits seem to be pretty good so that helps mitigate the lower pay.

meet with recruiter. video interview with data team then management. difficult interview question. a lot of complex problem solving. the data team interview was a lot of behavioral then problem solving. the management team talked about personal qualities. Be well prepared to talk about database experience and times you have overcome a problem. talked about leadership abilities and teamwork

depending on how you do it will either last one hour or two for the first interview. If the first goes well, then they will bring in you future team lead for the second interview. If you pass that it will be with the "Founders" to make sure you are competent enough. The first hour is logic puzzles to see if you are smart enough. The next hour will be if you are fit on the team or not.
