I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Champaign Residential Services (Troy, OH) in Jun 2017
Interview
Interview was at the Troy Office with who would become my Program Spec (one of six I'll have in the four years I have been there). It was your typical uncomfortable interview. She asked me the same questions you always get asked. What is your experience, if your past employer would have to rate your working habits what would they say, name something good about yourself. Questions they really need to do away with. Then she told me that I got the job, and she knew which homes she was going to put me in. She described the clients a little, and then told me when my trainings were going to be.
Trainings were 3 day's long. One day of them going over company policies, etc. There was CPR/First, and Crisis. Med training was two weeks later.

Question 1
Your typical interview questions. The same ones you're always asked in interviews. It was four years ago honestly.

Interview
Head manager was nice and asked questions of my related experience to this job or field. ADS manager said almost nothing during the interview. She did not make eye contact or seem interested in being there. When she showed me around she just walked down the hall and opened doors, we never entered any of the rooms. They also did not accurately portray all of the testing and training required for the job while in the interview. Training was extensive including 2 to 3 day long classes on top of restraint training, cpr, and other medical or safety related training. Training after that step is very rushed and not set to a pace for you to actually retain information but to keep somewhat staffed due to the incredibly high turn over rate.
