Different: Was contacted by the HR rep by text on EASTER SUNDAY. All communication was done through text. Finally had a face to face interview two weeks later after she contacted me by text the Thursday before the interview asking if I could come for 1:15 that Friday. Took a small test that asked; what is a CPT code, What is a Level 2 HCPCS code, What is a revenue code, and What is the difference between a denied and rejected claim. Then I was interviewed by three people, the HR rep and two members of the dept. NO SUPERVISOR was in the interview.

Interview
Recruiter emails and sets up interview. Recruiter had no idea about the job I was interviewing for & couldnt answer my questions about company culture or the day to day task involved in the role. It was awkward and unprofessional to say the least.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Centene (Cape Coral, FL)
Interview
It took a few months to hear anything back. A few months after I applied I received an email stating my application was being moved to the next step. 1 month after that I received another email asking for my availability to schedule a phone interview. I interviewed with the manager and director. Interview was about 1 hour. They asked many behavioral questions and went over the job description in detail. A few days after the interview I received a call from HR for a second Phone interview asking further questions on why I was looking to leave and what my salary expectations were. That same week I received a call with a job offer! Background check is extensive so make sure dates and education are accurate otherwise it prolongs the process. And they DO call so make sure you jot down HR # from your past employers. It took about 3 days for my background check to be complete and then I got a call from HR with a start date. I’m very excited to be able to have the opportunity to work for Centene.
