I applied for the Senior Manager role, frankly I dont know what they want. I felt like I answered all the questions well, but still didnt get the offer. The interview is two parts, one is a coding exercise with codesignal and a power day interview almost 5 hours.

How do you design a system for Electric meters in an apartment building sending usage information to a central server?
Applied for the position online, heard back within a week or so. Scheduled a call with the recruiter which went well, and she advised I would hear back in just a few days. Weeks later, no update, no response, nothing.
I applied through other source. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Tysons Corner, VA) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview process was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful of a candidate’s time. There was little structure to the discussion and no real opportunity to demonstrate my experience or thinking. To make matters worse, there was no follow-up afterward, which only reinforced the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. Overall, it felt dismissive, chaotic, and far below the standard one would expect for a senior role interview. Appalling behavior start to finish.
