I am leaving this review in regards to the interview process. I did not work at the California Endowment. I applied for a position there in 2022 and got a call within about a week that they wanted to schedule me for a brief phone interview. That went pretty well, so I then had a Zoom interview with an HR person. After that, I was scheduled for an in-person interview with 3 people. I was told that they would get back to me within about 1-2 weeks, after they interviewed others and narrowed down the candidates. 2 weeks went by, and I didn't hear back. Eventually I did get an email apologizing for the delay, saying there were some things that had come up and it had slowed down the process. Another week after THAT I wrote to them again to check in, and they eventually got back to me and said they wanted to set up a Zoom to have me go through some standard questions/tests to see how I handle different scenarios. I did that, and of course it ended with them saying they would be "in touch". Poof! I never heard from them again. At that point I was so annoyed I decided not to bother with any further follow up. So, 4 interviews over the course of about 2 months, and they couldn't bother with the courtesy of letting me know what my standing was. Perhaps this is not the norm, and was an anomaly with this particular office, but it doesn't matter - this should give an indication of how clearly discombobulated they are. I guess I dodged a bullet with this one.
