      I interviewed at BuySPRY (Gaithersburg, MD) in Nov 2021

      They contact me super fast after my application and then they set up an in-person interview. The interview itself went very smoothly. They asked a lot of personal questions and questions about previous experiences. But then one of the managers came along and did a weird test on how to position products on Amazon and was trying to explain how it worked. For those who have never worked selling products on Amazon, it's a test that doesn't make much sense to do in an interview. Anyway, at the end of the test, he said that a lot of people don't stay in the company for 1 week after being hired, because it's an extremely difficult and unique job, so many people can't stand the process. I found it all very strange.

Given the unique nature of our processes, we used a SEO and Listing assessment to gauge candidates' mindsets effectively. If you read carefully the instructions provided, you would have understood the exercise's purpose. If you didn't receive an offer, it's likely because the managers felt you didn't fully grasp the exercise's intention. The manager's comment about longevity reflects our commitment to hiring individuals aligned with our long-term goals.
