The interview process followed a classic sequence:
- Screening
- Interview with the Manager
- Interview with another Manager
- Task to present to the manager
- Interview with a team member
- Interview with the VP
If negative feedback surfaces about the interview, please take it into account. The entire process stretched out over 2 months.
While everyone maintained a nice and friendly demeanour, the process was occasionally disorganized. I had interactions with 4 different internal recruiters.
An email regarding the next interview was sent but not shared as an invite, creating some confusion.
It's quite common in Tech to have to produce a task during interviews. However, you'll recognize decent employers because they only ask you to present your work. In this case, I had to send it to them as well.
Despite completing 6 interviews and a task, I had to chase to get the final decision. The feedback provided afterwards was rather basic a 3 sentence email.. What a big waste of time.
