Durante il colloquio conoscitivo con Booking.com, della durata di circa 30 minuti, ho avuto modo di presentarmi professionalmente, raccontando il mio percorso come Network Operations Engineer, le competenze tecniche acquisite e le esperienze più rilevanti. Il recruiter ha approfondito le motivazioni che mi hanno spinto a candidarmi, il mio interesse verso l’ambiente internazionale e innovativo di Booking, e ha valutato il mio allineamento con i valori aziendali. Abbiamo parlato delle aspettative professionali, della disponibilità e delle possibili evoluzioni di carriera. Il tono è stato cordiale e informale, con l’obiettivo di comprendere se ci fosse un buon fit culturale e professionale per proseguire nel processo di selezione.

Interview
Had a phone call with HR about the process and decided to move forward to technical interview.
50 minutes before the meeting, they cancel it and i got an automatic e-mail saying that they reviewed my resume and decided not to move forward with me. Actually, of course, i have respect their decisions but i do not understand why they let me work hard and get stress for 11 days.
2 interviews, one with recruiter, one technical assessment. Very pleasant from all parties and the process took 3 weeks (1st phone interview, confirmed technical assessment during, 2nd interview a week later, followed by further email correspondence).
