I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Backcountry (Christiansburg, VA) in Jun 2015
Interview
Got a phone call two weeks after applying online. I missed the call, left a voicemail and was called back the next morning for a phone interview. Then I was invited to a tour of the distribution center and an in person interview a week later. That took a full hour and I was hired on the spot.
What are you passionate about?
How would you rate your computer skills from scale of 1-10?
Why do you want to work here?
What are your career goals?
Do you have questions for me?
What are your skills?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Backcountry (Salt Lake City, UT) in Mar 2018
Interview
The interview was very easy and took about 10 minutes. Very chill. Was clear in interview that there is high turnover and they need people who can show up, do the work, and accept the fact the work is lame/boring. People basically do the job for the discounts.

Interview
Very easy to get hired here, show up 10 minutes early, dress like you spend time outdoors, smile and act excited to learn. They will give you a tour of the building; act interested. Be calm. They are nice when interviewing you.

first i got a phone describing the job position and what it entails. THen they want to find out about you and whether or not you are physically able to do the job, and if doing seasonal, then able to work through holidays and put in extra time when needed. After that they have you come in for a one on one interview and ask more or less the same questions with a few typical interview questions.
