Interview
BMO customer service representative interviews have 2 rounds. The first round is a digital interview. I have received the link for a one-way interview, which consists of 10 questions. All about behaviour questions and more related to customer service.

Question 1
1) What interests you in pursuing a career with BMO, and specifically this role?
2) Please briefly describe your current or past experiences that you feel most closely relate to this position
3) In your opinion, what are the Customer Service Representative's job duties and responsibilities?
4) Describe a time you dealt with an upset customer turning a negative into a positive. Please describe your approach and the steps you took to resolve the issue
5) Tell me about a time when it was necessary to admit to others that you had made a mistake. How did you handle that?
6) Tell me about a time that you were able to suggest or upsell a product or service to a customer. How did it go? What was your approach?
7) What goals, including career goals, have you set for yourself? What are your plans to achieve them?
8) In which locations are you available to work?
9) Please provide your availability on a regular, ongoing basis based on our branch hours
10) In what language are you fluent?
Super easy, about two rounds with two people. The meetings went smoothly. In person walk ins to meet the manager helped. There isn’t much difficulty. Standard interview questions were asked as well.

Online One way interview. Multiple questions, would be given time before the question to think about before needing to answer. Time limit for each question (need to stay within a limit)
1-on-1 with assistant branch manager. Why do you want to work at a bank? Behaviour questions, like what would you do if you made a mistake. Tests your language abilites like Chinese.
