I applied to BD through my school's on campus recruiting. I was selected for a first round interview on campus, which was a 45 minute 1 on 1 with a BD manager (not HR). My interviewer was very nice and mostly wanted to know why BD, why the medical device industry, why marketing, etc. I got the sense that he was really trying to figure out if I would be a good fit for the company, and for one of the specific roles they had open. He asked me if I had a preference for one of their 3 business practices, or geographical location. There were also a few behavioral questions (tell me about a time when...) I didn't get any marketing case questions, but some of my classmates also applied for marketing positions at BD and said they got marketing case questions.
About a week or two later, I was notified via email that I made it through to second round interviews at the BD headquarters in Franklin Lakes, NJ. At this point I was assigned specific roles on specific projects that I would be interviewing for. On the interview day, I had a one hour interview for each role that I was assigned as a potential candidate. One interviewer seemed like he was selling the project to me more than asking me questions. The questions he asked were just about my experience and why BD, why this industry, etc. Other interviews had more questions directed towards me, but they were mostly behavioral. There were no surprising questions in any of my interviews. Although I will say, they both ended a little early, so be prepared with questions for your interviewer that show your interest in the company.
I heard back about a week and a half later with an offer, but ultimately decided not to accept.
