Austral Group interview questions

I filled out an application online. They asked for my salary requirements which I provided. A few days later a recruiter reached out to schedule an interview. The first round interview was pretty basic and at the end of the interview the recruiter asked my salary requirements which I reminded them that I filled out during my application and also shared on the call. The recruiter then shared that max salary they could offer which was $25K less then the bottom of my range. They asked if I wanted to continue on to the next round of interviews... No, thank you. It was unfortunate because they wasted my time and their time. Come on recruiters, do better!
